Title of Slovak Champion sealed with a win!

A new hill, new challenges, new trophies: Ústecká “21” hill climb races were not easy at all. We became absolute Slovak Champions.

Věroslav Cvrček Jr. brought the L Racing team more wins in Ústí nad Orlicí; these were the eleventh and twelfth victories of the season in the Slovak Hillclimb championship (MSR PAV). The Škoda Fabia RS2000 serviced by his “family” Rexteam was undefeated yet again, and it won with quite a lead on both days in Věroslav’s hands. On Saturday he won with a lead of 3.43 s in the sum of two measured times, and on Sunday he won with a lead of 3.87 s. Věroslav and the L Racing team have therefore already won the title of Slovak Champions even before the last race in Ostrá Lúka.

Věroslav Cvrček Jr.: “We experienced one of our best races. Even though I knew the absolute title was very close and I don’t even have to win, I was quite calm before the races, I even surprised myself. This was my first race on this track and I loved it. It was very technical, the road surface was great, the environment was beautiful and the organizers were also great. After Saturday training I felt great, I was calm, I enjoyed it. Due to the completely different nature of the track from what we’ve experienced in previous races, we needed to make a lot of adjustments to the chassis. I managed to win both Saturday races with quite a nice lead. No car from the Czech championship was faster. The team was overjoyed; during my third season in hill climb races and in the first complete season we managed to win the absolute title. We sealed the title on Sunday with our 10th win in a row and our 12th win out of 14 races. This win was largely thanks to the Fabia RS2000, which is fast and easy to control on various tracks but, above all, it’s reliable. I would like to wholeheartedly thank our mechanics and many other people who have worked with us and are working with us to develop this car, particularly Vančík Motorsport, WeldPro, Aluminium Racing Products, Libor Pujman and many others. I am very grateful to my family, which has offered me incredible support not only in this race and season, but over the 20 years that I have been racing. I hope these results bring them joy that matches the energy they put into the motorsport. Special thanks go to the L Racing team of Mr. Lipták, who decided to put me in this car two and a half years ago despite the fact that I had no experience with hill climb racing up until then. I hope the risk he took and his great support paid off.”
