Victorious premiere of the new evolution of Fabia RS2000

Rexteam developed and built a brand new car for this season. Compared to the previous version of the hill climb special Fabia RS2000, the aerodynamics, electronics, exhaust system and overall weight of the car has changed significantly. Its premiere took place during the first races of the new season of the Slovak and European Championship in hill climb racing. After a tough struggle to the last few meters, the car managed to win in its category and to achieve absolute victory in the Slovak Championship.

Věroslav Cvrček Jr.: “We brought a brand new car to the races, and it was its first time in action. During Saturday training we collected data and worked intensively on tuning the new electronics. On Sunday we were already racing. At the beginning of the season I lacked certainty and speed with the new car, but it gradually improved. After the first run we placed second; of course, I went for the victory, which I eventually succeeded in here thanks to very poor adhesion conditions at the end of the track, hard work and risk-taking. It was great to come race with a new car and win straight away. Thanks to Rexteam mechanics and technicians, and our external collaborators and suppliers.”
